During his tenure, he accumulated a diverse skill set and a strong educational foundation. He holds a Diploma of Public Safety (Policing), a Diploma of Security Risk Management, a Diploma of Leadership & Management, Certificate 4 in Security Management and a Certificate 3 in Security Operations.
In 2021, Ben had the honor of being the only police officer in the Southern Hemisphere to receive the prestigious International Association for Chiefs of Police 40 Under 40 Award. This recognition underscored his dedication to driving positive change.
Beyond his operational achievements, Ben has become a multi-award-winning Domestic and Family Violence educator and a dedicated LGBTIQ+ advocate.
